Welcome

So, I decided to start writing an online blog. As my close friends and family already know, I have an opinion on most things that are going on around the world on a daily basis. I have never really had a good filter between the thoughts that enter my mind and the face hole called my mouth. That has gotten me in a bit of trouble at times but it has also allowed me to exist in a sort of non-censored reality to those around me and most importantly to myself. You see, I don't feel like masking my feelings or censoring what I feel and say is fair. I think in todays society we all fall in line with what is considered "politically correct" just to ensure smooth waters and to be as inoffensive as possible. I don't buy into that life style and I don't think it's right.

I think in this country (I live in the USA by the way), we have certain rights that are taken for granted or have been forgotten. We have the right to speak out loud about our stances and opinions of things. Now, it has made my life difficult at times to be so free with my speech but I think at the end of each day I can honestly say I didn't fake any of it.

So thats what  brought me to this idea of blogging. I hope people subscribe, I hope good discussions are created based on some of the topics I choose to rant about. I hope people have fun with it. Some topics are sure to be light hearted and fun, some are going to be pretty serious and pointed.

Well, who the hell am I anyway? I am a guy who has experienced a WHOLE LOT of life in a short period. I have been married, divorced, remarried, a son, a brother, a nephew, a father, a husband, a co-worker, a friend.......to name a few.

I am not sure how or why but I have a knack for writing and for helping those around me. I have had a lot of friends, aquantances, co-workers, family members and others come to me for advice and guidance. I have been told that I am the one person whose opinion can be trusted because I don't mince words. I like to help people. It's something I enjoy, something I am good at and something I would do for a living if I could just get my arms around how exactly to make that happen all while maintaining a full time job and taking care of two kids along the way.

So......look for some topics soon and I hope you choose to subscribe and share in the discussion with me! I know you won't always agree with what I say but thats the beauty of things. We aren't supposed to agree all the time.
